Matt's Giving Tree Project

Matt's Giving Tree Project is inspired by the memory of Books 4 Keiki Founder, Matthew Nickel. Matt spent his life helping others find happiness and joy. Each year, in September, to honor Matt's birthday, Books 4 Keiki will gift 2 copies of Matt's favorite book, The Giving Tree, to each student in our program. One copy for the student and the other they can gift to someone else. The book about a tree who found purpose in giving all so that a boy could be happy reminds us daily of the blessing Matt was to us and our community.
